It’s Just Comedy | The Polk Theater | June 26th, 2013

The organization ItsJustCharity.org adds a refreshing twist on the concept of charity events. The organization aims to raise money for children’s education and mentoring needs in the Lakeland, FL area. What makes them unique is the vehicle in which they use to fundraise. Instead of just asking for donations, they hold fun community events that you would actually want to go to, even if it wasn’t for charity.

uDream events was excited to provide the bar service at ItsJustCharity.org’s, “It’s Just Comedy” event. Obviously, the easiest way to make a comedy event even more funny is to have a well-placed bar and serve all the guests alcohol… A genius ruse to ensure people will laugh. ‘It’s Just Comedy’ was held at The Polk Theatre in Lakeland on June 26th from 7pm -10pm. Guests were entertained by 5 different comedy acts while indulging in cocktails from the uDream Events professional bartenders. It was a fantastic evening full of laughs, cocktails, old and new friends and a great charity! The proceeds from It’s Just Comedy benefited the Lakeland Big Brothers Big Sister chapter.
