At this month’s event, all monies collected benefited the Children’s Dream Fund and specifically sponsored 13-year old Melissa’s dream. Melissa lives in Clearwater and has bone cancer, but wants to be cancer-free by the New Year to celebrate in Times Square, NYC, watching the ball drop! We want to do what WE can to make her dream come true so we got together and enjoyed some great food and wine with all monies collected going to her dream. Based on the monies we collected at the July and this event we are hopeful that her dream will be a reality. We will meet again in December to fulfill more dreams of children with terminal illness. The Children’s Dream Fund has over 60 dreams waiting to be fulfilled. Thanks to the generosity of some 30 women, we were able to raise nearly $1,200 at the Girl’s Night to Give event at The Pier Aquarium. With these donations to The Children’s Dream Fund, we are happy to know that Melissa realized her dream and rang in the New Year in New York City.
